P52: Week 7/52- Shadows Architecture

The Mills Building, San Francisco

Mostly bathed in morning light, I was struck by the bright columns and the recesses of windows hidden by the shadows in this glorious building in San Francisco's Financial District.  I had taken a few architecture courses in college and fell in love with the Chicago School of Architecture.  It seemed serendipitous that my favorite architect from that time, Daniel Burnham also designed a building so close to my California home.
